How do they break down?
Cogs break down by are own body as it is a foreign object in are face stimulating and creating collagen and elastin which will tighten are clients face.
Mono, cogs and screw threads are the only treatment on the market for aiding and facial lift with out surgery with results may lasting upto 3 years. This would save in long run on fillers as filler would only be required on enhancing certain areas and smoothing fine lines.
Side effects?
Cogs can be painful as it a structure under the skin, swelling/bruising can be severe, puckering in the skin where has been lifted this will reduce, for the side effects of this procedure we allow a total of 6 weeks to settle.
What is the procedure?
A thorough consultation will be given discussing the clients realistic achievements you will then be injected a liquid numbing agent to make the treatment more comfortable, the amount of threads will then be inserted via canulla on the deep plane of the face, once all inserted we will then slowly start tightening the face until the thread is very tight. We will them snip the remaining thread with scissors. Straight after a plaster will then be applied to support the face.
How do i look after care after my procedure?
No anti inflammatory to be taken, please aim to leave the plasters on for 3-5 days, no touching, slight discomfort for upto 6 weeks, paracetamol may be taken.
